This plug in this first version isn’t exactly what it’s own name says. In the future version a normal search will be added with options to select
where to search,search title or posts order by date,user,forum and many other things. In this first version only 3 are the features of this plugin.
1. List the new topics since your last visit.
2. List all the new topics the last 24 hours
3. List all the unanswered topics.
A big part of the code is from forums.topics.inc.php official file. In the list there are all the default features of topics list. sort by, pagination,
status icons etc.
Installation:

Extract the folder “ftsearch” to the “plugins” folder.
Install The plugin through admin control panel.
Run the plug by using this link plug.php?e=ftsearch.
I propose you also to add the link in forum section but this is up to you.
The plug uses a skin file. This is very easy to make you own from your skin. The base skin file is of course forums.topics.tpl. With a search and replace and by adding 2-3 tags you are ready. Don’t worry in this package there is the skin file based on manta_int for

The list of new topics since last visit is only for members if guest access this area they will auto redirected to see the new topics in the last 24 hours. If search gets nothing back a nice error message will appear. For easy translation all words are set into lang file.

This is the port of this core hack into a plugin. I finally managed to get it working as a plug.
Installation :
1 : Unpack and upload the files into the folder : plugins/fssicons/
2 : Go into the administration panel, then tab “Plugins”, click the name of the new plugin “Forum Sections Status Icons”, and at bottom of the plugin properties, select “Install all”.
3 : Then you have to add this tag {FORUMS_SECTIONS_ROW_STATUS_ICON} into forums.sections.tpl.For this you must do as you like but i propose you to replace the default forum section icon.

4: Now in every skin_name/img/system/ folder you must upload 3 images. Each for the status icon we added. You have to find or make your own images named like this:
forum_new.gif :Contains New Posts
forum_old.gif :Contains No New Posts
forum_lock.gif :A Closed Forum
If you followed all directions then you should have something like this
Btw Dyllon had released it some time ago but it didn’t seem to be working he has managed to get it working but my version has 2 lines less code lmao.

Upload the folder silence your /skins/ folder.
Set the skin silence in your profile, or as default in /datas/config.php

- I really liked this layout as i was designing it in photoshop due the making the new unique skin of t3-design i couldn’t add many new things around sorry, next’s week skin will rock i promise.
